The organization of the Grand Prix of the Eifel has received permission from the regional authorities to admit fans. The premier class of motorsport returns to the famous circuit after seven years. The race is on Sunday, October 11.
Ticket sales start on Tuesday. From 199 euros, motorsport enthusiasts can attend the entire race weekend from Friday to Sunday.
The GP at the Nürburgring was initially not on the calendar for this year, but was added in July when the program was turned upside down by the corona crisis. Many races of the original schedule could not take place, such as the Dutch GP at Zandvoort. Only at the last Grand Prix, more than a week ago at Mugello, a limited number of fans were allowed on the circuit.
German driver Sebastian Vettel was the last winner in a Red Bull car in 2013 on the more than 5.1 kilometer long Nürburgring. The German GP then moved to Hockenheim.
