New on Videoland: films and series that you can watch from this week | NOW

Meryl Streep will not only appear in the Netflix musical this week The Prom, but also pops up singing in Videoland’s new offer. The streaming service also comes with various Christmas films and popular animation films. View below which films and series will be released this week.


Despicable Me 1 and 2
This popular animation comedy is about supervillain Gru, who wants to steal the moon together with his yellow henchmen. However, he meets three small stubborn orphaned girls, who completely turn his plans upside down. The follow-up part can also be seen on Videoland from this week.

Christmas on Videoland
Just like Netflix, Videoland comes this year with a variety of Christmas films. From Wednesday, the following titles can be found on the streaming service: The Christmas Chalet, Christmas for Hire, Merry & Bright, One Winter Proposal, One Winter Weekend, The SOS Christmas, Starring Christmas and Twinkle All the Way.

Mamma Mia!
Meryl Streep plays a single mother in this musical who has never told her daughter about her father. Sophie wants to find out before her wedding, so she invites three of her mother’s exes to the party. In the tragicomic Mamma Mia! Various ABBA songs are sung. The musical can be seen on Videoland from 10 December.


Girl of Pleasure – season 3
Nadine (Angela Schijf) tries to find a balance in her double life as a good house mother and high-class escort. But the rivalry with her former employer and childhood friend Meryem (Birgit Schuurman) is growing. The third and final season of Girl of Pleasure can be seen on Videoland from this week.

Good Trouble
In this spin-off drama series The Fosters Sisters Callie and Mariana move to Los Angeles. As the twenties enter work life, they also find romance and new friends. There is now a third season Good Trouble in the making. Videoland only offers the first season for the time being.
