Dutch artists provide free online home festival on New Year’s Eve
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Suzan & Freek and De Jeugd Van Today, among others, provide a free online home festival on New Year’s Eve under the name Goodbye 2020. The online party, in which the organizers of festivals such as Dance Valley, Milkshake and Vunzige Deuntjes participate, starts on December 31 at 4 p.m. and lasts until January 1 at 5 a.m.
Travelers from UK and South Africa welcome again
The flight ban for passengers from South Africa and the flight and mooring ban for the United Kingdom expired on Wednesday. Lifetime Achievement Awards for Talking Heads and Salt-N-Pepa
Talking Heads, Selena and Salt-N-Pepa will receive the Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Recording Academy in 2021, known for the annual Grammy Awards. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, opera singer Marilyn Horne and jazz musician Lionel Hampton are also honored. Driving license theory exams remain valid for longer
Driving license theory exams expiring in the first five months of 2021 will remain valid until October 1. Prospective drivers cannot take a driving test at the CBR until January 19 due to the lockdown. The measure has been introduced to prevent the required theory exam from becoming invalid too early.
