Viscaal drove his second season in Formula 3 last year, just like fellow countryman Richard Verschoor. The driver from Albergen in Twente won a race at Silverstone and also made an impression during a rain race in Budapest. “After winning the races in 2020, one of which was taken away from me by a time penalty, I knew for myself that I was ready for the next step. As a driver I strive to develop continuously. I am grateful to Trident for this opportunity and cannot wait for the season to start in Bahrain, ”said Viscaal.
As support act for Formula 1, the Formula 2 season starts in Bahrain at the end of March. New this year is that two sprint races will be held on Saturday. The main program with a mandatory pit stop follows on Sunday. There are currently a total of eight race weekends.
